PHNOM PENH, 1st December 2012 (The Cambodia Herald) - Busty singer Bun Phailin has received
a new car from a high-ranking military officer, according to the latest
edition of Prochea Prey magazine.
"The officer has a lot of money. However, he's married with lots of wives and mistresses," she reportedly said. "He told me that he hated girls who love him and ask him about his family and wife. He recently bought me a new car which he said was just a small amount for him."
Bun Phailin, originally from Takeo province, said she was delighted with the new car. She also said that the officer was in his late forties and that the two met twice or three times a month, either in Phnom Penh or in the provinces.
Entertainment industry observers were speechless, with some saying the singer had broken a promise to keep her hands off married men. Observers also noted that she has ignored warnings from wives of men with whom she's been involved.
Bun Phailin was recently criticized by the Khmer Art Association and the Ministry of Culture for her skimpy outfits.
